Public Transport

In previous years, we've had problems in getting large groups of people to move between events without getting lost or separated, particularly with those who don't have cars. To try and fix that, this year we're looking for a few people familiar with the public transport system to escort groups between events. This will mainly be an issue on Saturday in moving people between Centennial Park and the Legion Club.

Art Jam & BBQ

We're looking for a few things with the BBQ this year:
  • Moving the BBQ that we've used in previous years around has proved to be problematic and we're currently looking for alternatives. If you have a BBQ (preferably 4 burners or more) and/or a means of transporting it, please let us know!
  • We also need people willing to donate food and/or help supervise cooking of food. In the way of donations, we need drinks, party food/snacks, meat for the BBQ, etc. If you do wish to donate food, please let us know what you can bring so we don't double up on too much stuff.

Saturday Night @ ESLC

  • The entertainment schedule for the evening is still under development, so if you've got anything you'd like to see happen in the way of activities, send in your suggestions!
  • One activity that is pretty sure to happen is another Casino style event, as happened last year. If you've got a poker set and/or would be willing to supervise a table, give us a shout.
  • As with the Art Jam/BBQ, food donations for the ESLC would be extremely appreciated. Party food, non-alcoholic drinks, general nibbles, all of it is helpful.

Prizes:

We've got a few events running, such as the Scavenger Hunt or Art Competition at the BBQ, for which it would be really awesome to have some prizes to give away. Prizes in previous years have included chocolates, alcohol, art commissions and plushies, and we're certainly open to suggestions, so if you've got anything you'd be willing to donate, send us an email!.
