As respectable Australian furries, we've organised a pub for friday night! Located conveniently in the city with a warm atmosphere and our very own private room (with a private bar and facilities). This is the perfect opportunity to mingle with friends and enjoy a relaxed evening out. We're currently asking that everyone pay $2 entry to help cover the cost of the room for everyone, but this may change closer to the date.
Please note:

  • Ears, tails, collars, leashes etc are allowed by Forresters but anything that covers the face is not permitted.
  • There is a pub bistro downstairs, but it is recommended that anyone coming grab a bite to eat before hand, as the area downstairs is open to the public and will probably be packed.
  • Unfortunately for this event, under 18s will not be able to attend due to the venue rules. However, a separate event will be organised closer to the date for any underage furries that wish to attend.

Encore? Definitely. One of the highlights of the weekend; fursuiting, food, park, games. We're all heading down to Centennial Park once more to enjoy the fresh air, meet 'n' greet and suit up. During the day there'll be the BBQ, Art Jam and whatever games people want to bring that would be suitible for outdoors (we encourage you to bring stuff!) Once again we ask for your help to cover the costs of the food with a $2 donation, this is also subject to change. With this being one of the most successful and renound Sydney fur events, you'd be silly not to attend! (Want to help out with the event? click here!). Fursuits are a big part of this event, but just keep in mind public sensibility.
Please note:

  • Dont forget to bring some rain gear. As it is forcast as light showers on saturday.

Following the huge success of last year's event organised by Ray Liehm, we'll be back at the ESLC's Starlight Room again for Saturday night. The room is located on the second floor of the club, and comes equipped with a dancefloor, projector, private bar and bathrooms, plenty of space and a wonderful view of Sydney CBD. Pizzas will be happening again as last year for those who wish to partake and donations of party food would also be appreciated muchly =D. Poker and Uno tournaments will be on as well as the announcement of the results from the art competition. The extremely talented and hilarious Anthrax will also be back on stage with more laughs! (The majority of the equipment has been organised but any help we can get would be fantastic, as there are still a few things we need to cover! If you think you can help out with equipment lending or the night's entertainment, click here.)
Please note:

  • The only access to the Starlight Room, located on the second floor, is via the elevator in the downstairs bistro.
  • While the bistro on the ground floor will be open for service during the evening's events, we strongly encourage attendees to either grab something to eat beforehand or to take advantage of the pizza run later in the evening. The bistro will not be able to handle individual orders for the entire group, and service will likely be somewhat delayed as it will still open to members of the public
  • Fursuiters will need to remain upstairs at all times.
  • For those bringing fursuits by car, the club has a drop off zone by the street entrance on Bronte Rd that can be used for unloading of bags.
  • Open to all ages. However, all attendees will be required to wear wrist-bands. With distinguished wrist-bands for minors.
  • Management reserves the right to refuse entry to the event.

Due to the success of last year's Scavanger Hunt we'll be hosting another one for Sunday's activity. We will rendevous in the middle of First Fleet park before 1pm, then the hunt will proceed throughout the northern part of the city and finish up at Tumbalong Park near the Imax theater in Darling Harbour (check the map). Players will be divided up into teams and given a list of things to find or do in and around The Rocks, Circular Quay, Wynyard, Darling Harbour and other parts of the CBD. There will be prizes for the winning teams (click here if you'd like to donate prizes!). Teams should aim to be back around 5pm, after which we'll hang around the park for a short rest and recovery period before dinner, as well as to wait for everyone to show up. The major prize for this event is a commission from Brittany (www.furaffinity.net/user/tearsofacrisus | http://brokenheartedhowler.deviantart.com/)
Please note:
  • It is advisable to grab lunch before turning up as there won't be much time to eat while hunting!
  • Make sure to pack a bottle of water and to dress appropriately for the weather (hat, sunscreen, umbrella). Also, wearing comfortable shoes would be wise as you will be on your feet for long periods of time.
